It is no secret, cerumen build-up inside the sound outlet port of the
hearing aid is by far the #1 cause of instrument failure. Everything
from weak or no sound, to distortion and intermittency can be attributed
to wax build-up at some level. And you know wax guards and maintenance
tools only go so far in preventing these symptoms. They may help some,
but lets face it. there is still a problem. This wax needs to be
extracted, or removed.
My Vac is an easy to use compact vacuum pump system
specifically designed for cleaning wax and debris from hearing
instruments. My Vac includes needle tips which fit safely and easily into the sound port for worry-free cleaning, as well as a large
easy-to-replace filter for trapping debris. And with My Vac, there is no
more hassle when a tip gets clogged with debris. My Vac includes a
blower port in the back of the unit for easy obstruction removal. My Vac
also includes a Mounting Clip for easy Filter Probe storage so there is
no tubing dangling in the way. My Vac is a
completely self contained system!
Needle Tip Options:
My Vac includes a Slip-Luer Fitting which accepts standard luer type
needle tips. One tip included with My Vac is a little too large it fit
inside the receiver port of the hearing aid. This is to prevent a user from
inadvertently damaging the hearing aid receiver during cleaning. We know
that the closer you can physically get to the debris the better the
results, so for users with good dexterity two smaller Needle Tips are
included with My Vac for cleaning various parts of the hearing aid,
including inside the sound outlet port and tube.
